The chamber cover and spare battery come in handy for quick changing during a shoot - despite the fact that the D3 seems to last forever on a charge!

It Is What It Is5
Yup, this appears to be the real thing. I can't tell the difference between this and the original one off of my D3. I understand that the D3 is different from any previous Nikon, so DON't buy it for any other camera.

As I wanted to have two ENEL-4a batteries pre-mounted to a door, I needed to buy one for the extra battery. The two battery cover doors are indistinguishable.
