It is exclusively designed for use with the PAL television system. The 2.7" Swivel Screen LCD display rotates up to 270-degrees for capturing video from multiple angles and sharing scenes upon playback with friends. When you want to shoot at night or in low-light situation, the Super NightShot(R) Plus Infrared System uses a slow shutter speed allowing you to capture the moment even in total darkness. The DCR-HC62 also features a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens so you can shoot like a pro. The Memory Stick(R) media slot is for storing still images on Memory Stick(R) PRO Duo and Memory Stick(R) Duo cards. The Super SteadyShot(R) Picture Stabilization system reduces image shake due to normal hand movements.
