Absurdly slow service
I had this warranty and continued to use it right up to the end of my flimsy mp3 player's 3-year life, so I dealt with Mack a number of times. Their service was terrible. I never received the player back from them in less than a month - and once or twice it took more than 2 months. Their status updates by e-mail were woefully few, far between and uninformative.
On top of all of that, there were the shipping costs - about $25 every time I had the mp3 player serviced (I probably spent $100 over 3 years). And the mp3 player only lasted as long as 6 months, sometimes as long as 2 - and I was pretty gentle with it - every time I got it back from Mack.
In short, save your money or look somewhere else for a service plan.
