Customer Reviews
Lots of memory, slow to sync in phone, fast in usb adaptor
Purchased this a few weeks ago, very pleased with the capacity. Works well in my Sony Ericson W760a phone.
The Good: large capacity, works in phone even though phone says max capacity of 4gb. Have not lost any data.
The Bad: This may be due to the phone, but the 4gb card will sync and load music without any disconnects. Once installed into my phone, syncing becomes a royal pain in the you-know-where. Frequently (from 2 to 25 songs into syncing) the sync software no longer sees the phone, although the computer does. Again, this did not occur with the 4gb card. Even tried putting the 4gb card back in, and it works like a charm.
The Work-Around: Purchased a Sandisk MobileMate Micro SD & M2 Reader (SDDR-121, Bulk Package)from JoWow here on Amazon. It costs $7.61 with shipping. The reader is extremely small. Put the 8gb card in the reader, then plug it into the USB port, then transfer of data/mp3's, etcetera occurs at normal 'reasonable' speeds.
The reason for only 3 stars is due to the frustration with loading data via the phone's USB connection. 8gb card disconnects, 4gb card does not.
I would recommend, but save yourself some frustration, and get the above-listed reader at the same time. My computer's reader will not take either the M2 card or the 'special adaptor' that came with my 4gb card.
8 giga bit memory holding card
My lord I was surprised when I got this. You would think that because it can hold so much information, it would be huge. But It is reasonably sized, and can hold a ton. After being evicted, I lived inside mine for about a week, before I could find a new place that was Internet adjacent. After finding an exceptable domicile, I filled the card up with music, and put it in my phone. Now when people dial my number, I can set the song that plays instead of a ringing sound. Technology is amazing.
supper good
i always go with sandisk. They have cheapest memory card and reliable. Also reliable speed and good quality. Go for it guys
