Lexar Professional CompactFlash Card
Whether you're recording images of family vacations or making professional photographs for publication, those images are precious and should be stored on media that is both dependable and affordable.

As an "enthusiastic amateur" with an eye toward entering photo contests I shoot hundreds of images at each photo outing. I lose enough pictures due to inexperience with exposure and composition, I don't want to risk losing the whole batch of them because of a faulty compactflash card.

After doing a lot of research on the cost and reliability of flash cards, I've settled on Lexar and have never been disappointed in six years of shooting digital. I now use a Nikon D300 and find this Lexar Professional CompactFlash card at 233x speed does a superb job of maximizing the speed of this remarkable camera.

Excellent quality and value
Lexar occupies the top end of the memory card supplier segment with a focus on high quality & high speed. What makes this card special is the price: it is far more cost effective than the slightly faster 266x cards that are now available.

Thus, if you want a reliable and fast CF card, this is currently (Feb 2009) a great value. On a Canon 50D, I do not notice the speed difference with more expensive, nominally faster cards.

Great Card. Vendor I used was a bit late on the deliver date, but completely stoked on the CF cards. We shoot weddings for a living and these puppies are perfect!
