The best in its category so far, I would prefer the D700 full frame over this one, but then I will have to change my lens set. CAN'T afford it right now.

Another two of SB600, a cheaper option for wireless flash

Useful for on camera flash 'if you ever use it this way' and some off camera shots too. Again doesn't fit on SB900.. I think

It produces good results but very awkward to install and gets in the way of controlling your lens (zooming or manual focusing)

Much more useful than the normal monopod, I can use it for both, camera and as a flash stand.

Useful for quick adjustment NOT for accurate adjustment, its difficult to position accurately.

One of the sharpest lenses by Nikon

It gives good view angle for the DX format cameras, although I would prefer a 30mm instead for a wider angle of view.

It doesn't trigger the Nikon flashes in wireless mode, you have to connect them to radio receiver.

This is the latest technology in rechargeable batteries. They don't drain out while not in use(not so quickly anyway). There are many brands available some with maybe more than 1.2 mA. You need 8 batteries for each flash at least.

Very important item when you have many flashes and more batteries. It don't only keep them organized and easy to find in your bag, but also different colour can remind you which ones are used up and which are readily charged.

Unlike the photo shown, this flash comes as a one piece only. And it's expensive for what it is and what it does, in my opinion.

White colour in reverse, and the black trim can also be used in digital post production white balance.
