Very good starter lens. You could spend a whole lot more on the Canon 18-200mm IS, but it isn't worth the extra money--buying another lens makes more of a difference!

This lens is so incredibly cheap, you can't afford not to have it. Being a 1.8 and a 50mm, it's great for rounding out your lens kit--it's perfect for dark indoor shots as well as for head shots.

If you take your camera with you everywhere (which I recommend, as you'll get more opportunity to learn and experiment), you can't always take your camera in a bag with you. This camera armor is optional, but nice if you plan on reselling your camera. I'm planning on taking my camera out west mountain biking (in the slingshot), so this is an extra layer of protection that I need.

Off Brand replacement batteries are your value friend!

For your Sigma 18-200mm OS--this allows you to get some amazing landscape shots--it makes the sky bluer, greens more vibrant, and best of all, cuts down on reflections! It isn't worth getting one for your 10-20mm though, because the amount of polarization changes depending on the angle from the sun you're shooting, so it would have a band effect--some parts more polarized than others. Not good.
