Dear Aaron I am 41, and at the beginning 2005 was a whopping 210 lbs, a friend of mine got me to look at yoga to help me shed off the unwanted lbs. I do a lot of energy work, Reiki, quantum, light and sound therapy, deep tissue and also chair massage. I purchased your cd s in June of this year, wish you had classes in Toronto. Well today with the help of your CD s hot nude yoga, simple life changes and diet. I have removed over 80 lbs from my frame. Went from a 36 waist to a 28 , Feel great and also look great both inside and out! Still am working on the belly flab and well it is tightening up slowly and naturally. Challenge Yourself
The "Strength" disc in this series, as Aaron Star explains at the beginning of the practice, is about "cultivating endurance through yoga." It is physically more demanding and faster paced than the "Virgin" disc. The Sun Salutation sequence towards the beginning will certainly warm you up and poses such as Locked Warrior or Warrior Three (for folks with bad balance, such as me) are real challenges. The video and sound qualities are excellent and some people might buy the disc simply to watch the men in it move through the postures. Aaron's instruction is clear and calming and his gentle, intimate instruction style comes across perfectly. Seeing this video could make folks want to schedule a trip to New York just to take one of his classes. There is a wonderful moment when the group begins doing Crescent Warrior pose and some of the guys bend the wrong way and crack up which brings the warmth of the entire session to light.

The music on the disc is soothing and unobtrusive. Bonus footage includes direction on three poses: Warrior Two, Revolving Triangle and Partner-Assisted Revolving Triangle.

This is a DVD you could keep returning to and learn more from and the practice would be nice to include in your regular yoga schedule.

Exceptional instruction
I have greatly enjoyed the whole series of DVDs by Aaron Starr and have found each one to be very helpful, and beautifully and tastefully executed. I have practiced yoga for several years, and am delighted to find an approach geared to the gay male. From beginner to the more advanced with partners, these DVDs will improve your postures, strength, and breathing in a sensual and graceful form.

Finally, First Rate Yoga DVDs for Gay Men!
After several years of practicing yoga and being disappointed by so many "instructional" yoga DVDs and videos targeted to our specific audience, I am delighted to say that Aaron Star's latest effort is, in a word, amazing. I have purchased and watched the entire set, and with each subsequent viewing, I discover new and wonderful nuances which have profoundly enhanced my own practice. And it certainly doesn't hurt that all the men featured are beautiful, graceful, and the epitome of what I hope to achieve for myself. The filming and editing are first rate, the instruction clear and concise, and the flow and pace of the videos are perfect.
