My daughter loves it!
This is probably my 8 year old daughter's favorite "toy." Her dad is an engineer, and thus knows a lot about electronics. He said he was learning about the same things in his freshman year of college; so I hate to call it just a "toy." She loves to do this, asks everyday. She is learning a lot of the correct "jargon" like parallel vs. series. She is really looking forward to more projects!

Great Way to Teach about Circuitry
This is only one of a number of Snap Kits I have purchased for my sons. Each kit comes with a manual that gives the steps to creating a number of different projects. Both my sons love to play with the Snap Kits, especially the parts that make noise (the alarm, the FM radio, and the recording device). My 10-year old now knows more about electronic circuits, and the associated jargon, than I do! The only real limitation is that a couple of the pieces did not seem to last that long (although this resulted in my kids creating "work-arounds" which was great).
