Mixed Bag o' Cheapness
If you need a replacement SNES controller, you don't really have any other choice but one of these. That being said, these are cheap controllers that do not hold even the slightest fraction of a candle to the original. I bought two of these and one works okay, but the other has extremely stiff controls that are very difficult to get used to. Neither controller registers button presses very well, which is disappointing for those of us who are used to winning the "who can press 'A' the fastest?" type of games. This is the only newly-manufactured SNES controller that is available right now, but don't expect much; I recommend using your original controllers until they fall to peices before settling for one of these.
My review of a controller.
This, my friends, is a controller.
It has buttons, which if you apply pressure to using your fingers, it will cause characters on the screens to do such things as jump, kick, punch, or shoot any number of weapons.
There's a cross on it that symbolizes the sacrifice and passion that went into making this controller. That and movement for the character on screen.
There's a start button. That begins the game or pauses the action, so that the player may re-evaluate his gaming strategy. Next to it is ally and colleague "Select" which performs it's namesake - selecting positive items of interest.
There are also, on the top, "L" and "R" buttons on the top - L meaning "left" and R meaning "right." Their possibilities are endless, from moving a character to performing moves.
A classic controller. The only bad thing is sometimes my fingers hurt A LOT after button smashing on this thing. Owie...
A must-have for the snes console
It serves its purpose. You just can't play any video games on you snes console unless you have this controller.
