good beginner pencils, but could use more primary colors
Got these pencils for my 16-month-old because she was interested in scribbling. They're a good size for her to hold easily, and they don't mark on carpets, clothes, and other nearby surfaces. My only complaints would be that the leads could be a little softer, so that it was easier to make a satisfyingly dark line, and that there could be some recognizable colors in addition to the strange array of off-pinks and off-blues that seem to have been selected here. Kids this young are still learning colors, right? Could I get a few base colors in the mix? But overall, a good first set of scribbling pencils.
