This highly precise timepiece features an easily readable white dial background, featuring large Arabic numerals in black with smaller red 24-hour numerals, and small minute indexes that surround the outer dial. The gold-tone stainless steel watch case measures 1 inch in diameter, and it flows elegantly into the expansion bracelet. Other features include Japanese quartz movement, a scratch-resistant Hardlex crystal, and water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet).
Warranty
This Seiko watch is covered by a limited 3-year manufacturer's warranty (includes 1st year worldwide coverage with 2nd and 3rd years valid only in the United States). This warranty does not cover the strap, crystal, watch bracelet, battery, or any watch accessory. This includes, but is not limited to, any pouch or belt attached to the watch. If the watch is repaired or serviced by anyone other than Seiko, the warranty becomes void.

My watch arrived very quickly after I placed the order. I have had several Seiko watches over the years, and they all have lasted a very long time. I really like the watch, the design of the face is nice and easy to see. Unfortunately though, after wearing it for only 3 weeks, the band broke. I haven't yet taken it to a jewelry store to get it repaired, hopefully it CAN be repaired inexpensively. I understand from reading other reviews that this has happened to others and the band is not covered under the warranty. I am quite disappointed because I was very happy w the watch until this happened.
nursing watch
This watch is one of the best I've worn! It performes with high quality, is dependable and will wear for many years. I have used this watch for 10 years and the band played out. I replaced the watch instead of just the band. I use this one for nursing every day. It looks nice and is waterproof making it very serviceable for me. I looked all over this city for a new one and there was none to be found. I went online and found it on Amazon. Thank you for still carrying this watch. I tried on many watches searching for one that would come close to this one. Even perchased a couple, but took them back becase they were so uncomfortable ie: pulling the hair on my arms. I highly recommend this watch to anyone but especially nurses because of its special features.
Watch band not covered by warranty
I loved this watch until the band broke after 6 months. I found the band was not covered by the warranty, and the shape of the band was unique. To replace it with a Seiko band costs over $37.00. So, I either have to get a band that is not tapered, buy a new watch (not a Seiko) or spend the money for the Seiko band.
