Another great management thinker. He had a tv show on the BBC and wrote a book afterwards. The format was him looking into family run businesses and figuring out who should manage it. Highly revealing stuff on leadership.

If you liked the series you'll love the book. Giving lots of background info that connects with the tv show but was not on it. If you want to know how -general business- investors think, this book will help a lot.

Great book by a great guy. If you ever think of getting into the consulting business, this is the one book I'd recommend reading. The author is totally for real, as a matter of fact I did some of his workshops. Also has a great sense of humour.

Did not buy this book (yet) myself, but I greatly admire Geoff Burch. Again, this guy had a BBC tv show. It is called 'All over the shop' and it features retailers in need being advised by Geoff. One of the great grey masters.

One of the best eyeopeners I have read on the subject of communication recently. If you want to sell a movie idea like the sci-fi thriller Alien, keep it short, sweet and seductive: 'Jaws on a spaceship'.

Consulting Demons: Inside the Unscrupulous World of Global Corporate ConsultingConsulting Demons: Inside the Unscrupulous World of Global Corporate Consulting by Lewis Pinault

Nice warning never to go into consulting. Describes consulting (with larger corporations) as it is; a commodity where university graduates form the cannon fudder for a neverending dance between the brand name consultancies and the -insecure- managers that hire them.
