I developed the "Beyond Money" principles when I finally understood (and embraced) that, "Money in and of itself is neither the sole problem nor the whole solution to living a successful life." T.Harv echo’s that sentiment and suggest that wealth is as much (if not more) about mindset as it is about the amassing of money.

The book that started it all for me, one of the rare reads that I pick up every now and again and flip to a random page and start reading again - just like the first time. This is certainly not one of those +set-it-and-forget-it" books, the wisdom, insight and depth must be inhaled, sipped and studied over and over and over again!

To quiet the voices of doubt, to speak undeniable Biblical truth to myself in the face of blatant contradictions, to embrace the belief that even my failures are factored into my future success - these are just a few of the gifts this book has give me.

At the end of every year I pick a scripture for the year to come from a bowl filled with slips of paper with "random" verses on it. Each year, the randomness falls away and the purpose and necessity of the words vividly come to life for me. They encourage, convict, enhance, celebrate and altogether deepen my relationship with Christ - they undeniably echo the deliberateness of ALL things!

I love to connect with people, and micro messaging is fascinating. Yet it is not my intention to become a member of the "Twitter Elite" who send rapid fire message about everything from business blogs to burping babies ...but I've definitely discovered my "why" for Twitter & I can thank Warren, Deb and this great book for that! I have just about every book by this author - I will admit that his writing still isn't for everyone. His books will "call you out" from your "corners of comfort" and place you squarely in the middle of the reality that it's NOT about YOU...Can you handle that?... me...in doses - I suggest you buy it, add it to your already overfilled book shelf and when you’re ready dust it off and dig in!

As the author says, "it's a noisy world" … still I encourage you to buy this book. If you are serious about making a difference in the world (heck, in your own life) Read pages 127-129 in IMPACT. Apply the concepts and challenge yourself to make your own life, business, mission, or project an easy idea to spread using these simple principles and be sure that, "It benefits everyone who gets it…"

It's neat (albeit shocking) to meet someone who is genuine and really believes what they've told the world they’re all about. I had the pleasure of meeting Brendon in August '08 and he is who he markets himself as - refreshing! This book is a MUST READ for anyone who has ever needed a "reason" - to embrace, hold-on to, reconnect with, or just plan enjoy life again. Whimsically well written!

I’m not suggesting President Obama will be “The Perfect President” however I voted for him not b/c I’m black, or a "liberal" but b/c I have benefited from the very "trickle-down economics" that he spoke out against -yet COUNTLESS others haven’t. Is it possible for ANYONE to be truly "comfortable," when it requires turning a blind eye to unnecessary inequity? May God bless Pres Obama & the USA!
