Customer Reviews

Excellent quality cables!5
A few years ago, I was totally into the Home Theater thing. I knew about HDTV before anyone else on my block and I influenced many people to buy their theaters. I had 400 DVD's before most folks knew what a DVD was! And I had - and have - a TON of cables.

A good friend is an electrical engineer and he did a lot of testing on cables. After all, they range from less than $1/foot to well over $50/foot. Was there a 50x difference? No, not even close. Like most things, they are pretty much equal to a point, after which huge increases in price bring small incremental increases in performance. Cables are no exception.

If you have the latest and greatest in gear and you run long lengths of cable, or perhaps run your cables through multiple pieces of gear (like from DVD player to a HDMI switch to a receiver and finally your display), you might gain a little from those most expensive cable brands. Might. More than likely, you'll never notice (without expensive testing gear and really, who cares about differences if they can only be detected with testing gear?) any difference. One thing tho, if you run your power cables with your audio or video cables, you may actually notice "noise" if you use really cheap cabling.

Given that, these are very inexpensive, well made and are most excellent for almost any normal application. I bought two to give my gear a little extra leeway in placement and couldn't be happier. Are they as nice as my $150 XXX-brand cables? Well, they aren't as thick, so if thick is nice, then no. But they route a lot easier than the thick ones.

All in all, highly recommended.

Mislabeled cables on arrival3
At first I thought the product was defective because none of my equipment worked when I plugged it in. Upon closer inspection I discovered that the color labeled ends didn't match up. After plugging them in as if they were labeled correctly they worked fine. I notified the company be email and asked for properly labeled cables and didn't get any kind of a response from them at all. I figured I could relabel them myself, which I ended up doing, but I still expect better quality control and customer service than that even if a product is inexpensive. Maybe this will help others that thought they got a defective product.

not as white as i thought theyd be, but thats my own fault. work well.4
i thought the photo on here was dark or something, but no, thats how they look. not totally white, but white enough for what i needed it. isnt as bold as black against my white wall. i dont like how wide the cable is, since all five cables are stuck together side by side. ive seen thinner, thats why im giving 4 out of 5.
