| Its calming, structured, sensory organizing...and there are books to help you adapt it for your children with ASD! While not a treatment for Autism, Yoga can't really hurt (beyond some muscle aches). At worst, your child won't like it, at best, you'll share some precious moments of relaxation. I recommend the yoga DVD's too -- as tv can be a natural reinforcer and is immediately engaging to many children. Plus, following the poses seen on screen teaches the valuable skill of imitation. | ||
