Protection for a 14" laptop, not recommended as a 'regular' carrying case
This is not as much a carrying case as it is a protective case/cushion. We bought one for our son's 14" VAIO a few months ago because, at the age of 12, he doesn't feel like carrying a business-like bag with him when he takes his laptop along to friends'.

This case WILL protect a laptop carried inside a larger container such as a backpack or some larger piece of luggage where it will protect the laptop from being scratched or soiled. However, it is not a good solution to carrying the laptop around because it lacks a handle or a shoulder strap and provides no room for the AC adapter or any other accessories.

For what we paid and for what we use it, it's okay but I'd recommend a more traditional carrying case for anyone commuting with the laptop daily.

Everything I asked for...
I wanted, I found, I bought.... I own... I am happy. It's everything I could ask it to be. Don't expect to save your laptop from being thrown round or sat on or dropped with this thing though... it's just a nice case to keep your lappy cozy. I throw mines in my book bag alot, and with all the other junk it my book bag, i was afraid of getting scratches on my lappy... but hurraayy for Sony! I shall fear no more! It even matches my Viao!
