Great product - thanks!5
Really like using the Flogg because it replaces a dayplanner I've been using for the past year as I calorie count and try and build muscle! The charts are easy to use and now I have everything in one place...and it looks great at the gym (I take it with me as I do my weights and it's certainly handsome!). And, it's pretty cool to look back on my history and see how things have changed as I've improved my fitness and eating regime.

The only improvement I can think of is that I wish it came in more colours. I'm on my second one and everyone asks me what it is....just wish it came in some crazy colour like pink or orange for the summertime!!!

What you've been missing...5
I am constantly amazed at how much this journal has kept me focused & on track with my weight & fitness goals. Having a different weight problem as most folks do (I have a problem keeping it ON), I used to disregard counting calories & simply ate huge amounts of anything I could get my hands on. As I started using Flogg Daily, imagine my surprise when I realized I was missing my target calorie intake by anywhere from 500 to 1,000 calories a day! This journal has an extensive nutrition guide that's very helpful & I have since greatly modified my diet to include foods that'll help pack on the pounds without necessarily clogging my arteries.

Of course, no fitness regimen is complete without an exercise routine. Having less than a professional bodybuilder's motivation to work out means that I have a tendency to fall into a boring routine, become stagnant &, sometimes, inconsistent. By using Flogg, I see the areas where I need improvement, the muscles that might be getting overworked (since I favor exercises that are easy to me =) ), & exercises where I can push myself harder by increasing reps, weight, etc. Flogg has sections that allow you to not only catalogue your reps, weights & sets, but also for type of exercise, time spent & muscle group worked. A small - but critical - section that lets you log hours slept, appetite, energy level & mood helps keep you well rounded & aware of your overall health.

I think the more dedicated folks out there will love the My Flogg Photos section, where you can paste Before & After photos, as well as log pre & post stats. The Progress Pages will help keep you motivated as you keep track of the changes in your body. It certainly helped me at times when I felt like skipping more than a few workouts.

Most notably, Flogg Daily truly does encourage fitness achieved in the most natural & healthy way possible. No fad diets, no promises to help you shed pounds without lifting a finger, but filled with inspiring quotes & helpful tips to keep you on track. I am happy to report that, with Flogg's help, my weight has increased by a very healthy 14%, my cardio & weight training levels have improved & the quality of my sleep has never been better! Used faithfully, I can guarantee you'll not only be impressed by this product, you'll be grateful for it.

Excellent food/exercise log!5
The Flogg is perfect for anyone trying to track food and exercise. The layout has two full pages for one day. The exercise page has two seperate sections for cardio, each with 3 lines. Perfect if you are doing two a days or just do a few different machines during your cardio sections. There are spots to record level, heart rate, calories burned and duration. There is also a huge section for strength training (10 lines) with spaces to record weight, reps, sets, and muscle group. Below those is a notes section, which I LOVE for recording how I felt that day, and a Training Evaluation section with spaces to record hours slept, appetite, energy level, mood, location, trainer name, and a little spot for them to initial if you want to.

The food section has 6 divided areas, breafast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. This is great for someone like me who eats often through the day and after workouts. Each of the snack sections are kind of small (2 lines) but the main meal sections are very big (5 lines). There are areas to record fat, sat fat, carbs, sugar, and protein. I don't record all those specific macronutrients, but I like that even if I don't want to record a certain one, I still have space to record the one I want w/o squeezing it in somewhere.

In addition to the space for the food/exercise, there are spots to check if your supplement was taken that day (which I usually record specifically in the notes section), weight, chest/waist/hip measurements, and water intake.

Outside the actual journaling, I love the progress pages in the back! My trainer does an assessment every 6-8 weeks and I record all the results in my Flogg. It doesn't match up perfectly, but there is enough room to write notes about the assessments. I also record accomplishments in the Additional Notes pages in the back sometimes. And it's really nice to see the progress over time, especially when you can flip back to it when you are having a bad day. There is a little built in envelope for pictures, notes, or whatever else you'd like to stick in there. I keep my nutrition program back there.

Honesly I can't imagine anything I'd do to improve this product. It has a small sleek sturdy design that fits in my purse, briefcase, and gym bag. And it really does have all the space I need to record everything. I love it!
