Exactly what I'd hoped
If you have an older, Spanish-speaking child needing to learn English this is the program to buy! I am a teacher and am very picky about educational software. Our newly adopted ten-year-old daughter loves the software, which is most important because if they don't like it, they won't learn. The program comes with a durable headseat with headphone and mike, although it will work without the headset.

Most exciting is that the programs monitors pronunciation (with a cute squirrel that climbs a tree) and the student can view the voice patterns of her pronunciation as compared to the correct pronunciation.

It also has games that teach all kinds of words by categories.

The program is made in Spain, but my Latin American daughter has no problem understanding the dialectal difference!

We've had the program a month and I can find absolutely nothing wrong with it!
