Customer Reviews

Upgraded, but not sadly not improved2
This is the first time I've ever reviewed a product. I have to say I was sadly disappointed. I checked the "original" DVD out from the library and loved it. I enjoyed all the little songs and the words that were taught. When I went to purchase it, I noticed that they had the "new & improved" version. I was so disappointed when I got it. It only has 2 songs (that really don't even go along with the words that are taught) and it's way too visually stimulating. I also missed some of the words that were taught on the first video and not on this one. I guess I learned my lesson that newer versions aren't always better ones!

Signing is a life saver with an infant5
This video is great not just for the kids but for adults too. Now my nine month old daughter signs when she wants to eat and sleep. It really helps take the guess work out and limit her frustration with trying to communicate what she wants. My friend recommended the video and her 2 year old loves that she knows when my daughter is hungry!

These gals are divinely inspired5
My almost-3-year-old used to love to watch the signing time series. We were fortunate to live in an area where our public TV station broadcast the program. I remember when I would put her in her crib at night and she would point at her wrist and say "sign, sign?" because she would want to watch signing time. She was able to communicate well long before other kids her age and she still does speak better than other two year olds.

We loaned some of our dvds to a friend whose daughter has "speech delay". After our friend's daughter started using signing time we and her parents noticed that she threw fewer temper tantrums and was better able to communicate.

Thank you signing time!!!

Our favorites are My First Signs, Leah's Farm, the great outdoors, and the ABC's.
