Great Budget Foil
This is a great practice fencing foil for beginners. It has an easy
grip and not heavy. I just began fencing and works great for me.

Great for Beginners
I bought this foil as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, as he had taken a fencing class and expressed interest in wanting a foil to practice with and fence with other friends. I wanted something with enough quality to last, but affordable on a college budget. This was right on the mark. The only one thing I made note of was that in the pictures, the finger pad under the hand guard appears to be particularly soft or leathery. What arrives is actually a circular piece of felt. No biggie because it gets the job done. I highly recommend this foil for any beginning fencer or individual interested in starting. :)

still in great shape 5 months later
i practice 5-10 hours a week with this thing, and have no complaints. i've destroyed a couple of targets with it, but it's still going strong.
