Average customer review:Product Description
The Pacific Outdoors 17-SN825 Optima Snowshoes feature an anodized T6 aluminum frame that is lightweight, attractive, and strong. The rear deck panel is made of tough, durable Hypalon, and the colorful PE toe-deck panel is long-lasting. Toe-wrap bindings surround your feet to provide support and comfort while walking. For outstanding traction up and down hills, the snowshoes feature double-claw aluminum crampons. And to prevent toe-hooking and snow from flying up in your face, Pacific Outdoors designed these snowshoes with toe-rod pivots and spring-back bindings. The design features a tapered frame for better maneuverability, and a narrow tail to reduce the chance of cross-stepping. These snowshoes are built to support up to 175 pounds, and the adjustable heel strap fits nearly all boot and shoe sizes.

I BOUGHT THESE SHOES FOR MY GIRLFRIEND,WE WENT OUT TO MT.BACHELOR ON JAN.9TH.
THIS WAS THE TRIAL RUN OF THESE SHOES,SHE LOV'D THEM!! ABSOLUTELY COULDN'T
SAY SHE LIKED THEM ENOUGH.WALKING BESIDE HER I COULD SEE THAT THE SHOE HAD A GREAT AMOUT OF SPRING TO IT,SO SHEDING THE SNOW FROM THE TAIL WASN'T A
PROBLEM.SINCHING THE STRAPS ON THE BINDINGS SEEMED EFFORTLESS AND DIDN'T
SLIP ALL DAY.
Novice in Snowshoes
I am brand new with using snow shoes. I found this pair easy to put on and strap in. I still haven't figured out what to do with the extra amount of strap that hangs out. The strap that I tucked in stayed in on one side but not the other. I'm still learning.
However, the walking was great, and while it will be a long time before I'm running in them like I saw a woman do in my area, I at least know that I can get around in them.
I would purchase them for other members of my family.

deficient straps and buckles
I went out snowshoeing but I spent more time rebuckling the straps than I did enjoying the snow. This size snowshoe is not for any snow deeper than 6 inches.
