New generation Hop-Up Version Airsoft Electric Gun with Heavy Weight feel that makes it more realistic and sturdy. Full size replica M16 M4 Carbine rifle made nicely by Double Eagle. Has selector switch for full auto or semi-auto. Comes equipped with adjustable red dot sight, adjustable laser aim module and flashlight. This is a fully loaded gun that you can play in the daytime or night time. It shoots at about 250 FPS. It does hurt when it hits your skin. Good Entry Level Gun
This gun is very good! It shoots at a decent speed and it is very accurate for a certain distance until it starts to curve(I don't know the distance, but I would say at least as long as the average backyard, if not more). This gun should be wonderful for backyard wars(haven't got to battle with it yet). I thought I would need a more powerful gun, but I realized that nobody would want to play with me if I kept shooting them with a really powerful gun at short distances. The hop up works extremely well. I can aim the gun down (no more than an angle of 45 degrees) and the BB's still curve up enough so it doesn't hit the ground(because of the hop up). The only thing I don't like about the gun is that the barrels are made of cheap plastic and can break off the gun easily. When my friend was playing with it, he accidentally hit me with the barrel and it snapped off. I fixed it with superglue and heavy duty tape though. The seller, Airsoft Central, is awesome and I give them a 5 out of 5! Overall, this gun is probably the best gun you could get for the price for backyard wars. It is defiantly my gun of choice(for backyard wars of course ;)]!
Nice, cheap gun
The gun itself is really nice, with a good fps and rate of fire. It's about 10 times better than my $20 CYMA G36, but it has a few problems. No matter who you buy this from, the shipping is expensive. Also, the laser sight is REALLY cruddy. I tried for an hour to get it to work, and just broke the batteries. If you're looking forward to having a great laser sight, you'll be disappointed. Another slight flaw is that the scope is too low-mounted to comfortably sight, but the gun comes with iron sights. The tactical handle is sturdy and reliable, and the flashlight works well and looks awesome. I showed this to an Army sergeant Iraq veteran, and he was awed by how similar it was to his combat rifle. The sling is good, but a little short if you want to use the gun while it's slung over your shoulder. I really like how it has two detachable barrel tips (one's a silencer, one's a normal barrel), because I can take them off and use this gun like a submachine gun. The tips are a bit fragile, though. It's nice and accurate to about 50 feet, so I use a nice UTG Mk23 spring pistol to cover the longer ranges (accurate to 100 ft, and only $20! Check it out on ShortyUSA). My brother's clips broke, though. Now he has to continuously hold them in the gun with one hand to allow them to feed. Overall, for the price, it's an awesome gun. If you're looking for a cheap, mid-range-accuracy, backyard-battle AEG, BUY THIS GUN!
Great for it's price
I would've definitely given this gun a 5 if it were not for the slow shipping. That being said, let's talk about the gun itself.
I think that the rail guards that come with this gun is completely useless. The aim scope isn't good but it really isn't as bad as what alot of people wrote about it. I find it to be pretty good for target practicing, however do not use it in real battles. The laser pointer and the flashlight is pretty pointless. This gun was heavier than I thought it would be. I only got this gun today so I can't really judge it's durability, but know that the gun is fully plastic. The accuracy of this gun is pretty bad but is CQB's it'll be fine. One thing I find annoying is that the bb's get jammed really easily. Another minor problem is that the safety switch is labeled wrong. It is labeled on the left side when it's really on the right. I put the switch on the right side (where it says full-auto) and i almost broke the gun.
In summary:
pros:
-good weight
-pretty durable for a plastic body
-good fps
-awesome gun for it's price
cons:
-bb's get jammed pretty easily
-useless accessories
-no speed loader???
-SLOOOWWWWWWWW shipping
All in all, this gun is great for beginners and for CQB's. If you want a good gun just save your money and get a higher brand like an echo1 or CA, but don't get a Tokyo Mauri, totally not worth it. For those of you who say this gun sucks, well it's only 30 dollars, what do you expect?
