Product Description

It's hard to find classic, rugged work boots that also look great when there's no work to be done. We're proud to offer the Blundstone 500 Series Original Boot for women, straight from the Land Down Under. The 500 Series Original has been Australian bootmaker Blundstone's cornerstone for years, and it's kept its lasting appeal due to easy on-off stretch sides, a grippy, oil-and chemical resistant sole, and thick, durable leather uppers that provide its timeless, vintage look. Direct-injected PU soles provide heavy-duty traction and cushioning without weighing you down, and the tug loops on the cuff are stitched in with use in mind. The fully removable comfort footbeds of the 500 Series Original allow you to switch in your favorite orthotics or take them out for drying after a rainy walk with the pooch.

Nice shoes but the quality went down2
I've been using 500 and 510 within the last decade - very strong and soft leather; perfect for walking in a jungle. Just purchased the 500 again; very hard to wear, rugged and after 2 months of wearing the leather color begins to fade out in individual places- you begin to see the actual color of the leather, not the color of the shoe you purchased. I am disappointed.

Just the best!5
I bought my first pair at least 8 years ago and they just now finally wore out. I live in New York City and walk a LOT. My Blunnies not only held up for years but were extremely comfortable the whole time, and I'm talking about walking on hard surfaces. They always look good -- the more beat up the better -- and they're good year 'round. For some reason they even look good with shorts -- I guess it's some Aussie special ingredient! Also a good all-weather boot. I always wear them when I go on ski trips -- at the end of the day they are great to slip on after having my feet in ski boots all day. Just the best for all-round use!

Great Boots5
I got these boots the day befor a trip to Belgium that involved a lot of walking. My wife thought I was crazy for bringing them (only). For me, no break-in required. They are rugged, comfortable, stylish, and enable easy passage though the US's ridiculous Airport security.

The best advice I found was the rewiew that suggested ordering via the earopean sizing. I am a 42 which usually translates to about an 8 3/4 in standard US sizing. I got a 42 which is labeled as 8. Had I ordered my normal US 9 they would have been too big.
