The size runs fairly large
I just received these in the mail, and the sizes run large! I had purchased the Royal Purple in Medium, and it looks like I was swimming in them. I could have gone with a small or extra small. I am 5'2 and 135 lbs, with hips at 36" and wasit at 30". I usually wear medium sized pants and shorts, but didn't expect them to run so large, especially when other reviewers for other products of the same brand have said that they run true to size. On a side note, I also purchased a size Small for the asymmetical top, and it's too big on me as well(sleeves went 2" beyond my fingertips).

Rather than return the item and lose out on shipping, I'll just have to add a string tie to the inside of the pants, and tie it to keep it from falling down my waste. It wasn't a complete loss. I can easily convert these into running shorts (these are bad for any kind of yoga- i'll end up giving my neighbors a show if i do any leg lifts =) ). Anyhoo, the material is good (soft and thick) and well made. I also love the color. It's just too big.

Run big, cute for beach/weekends
As with the rest of the Beyond Yoga products, I really like these. However, they do run big. I got Mediums even though I typically wear Small because 1) mediums were about $20 cheaper than smalls and 2) I have a few pairs of Beyond Yoga pants in small and medium and I can't tell the difference between them.

In any case, they shrunk a little when I washed them, which was good as they were too big. They're really cute for the beach or very casual wear on the weekends. I would NOT wear them for yoga because like the previous reviewer stated, I'd be giving my neighbors a show.

Cute and comfortable shorts
These shorts are a nice weight, neither too thick nor too thin. The size does tend to run ever so slightly on the large size. If you are between sizes, I would recommend going down a half size rather than up. To be fair, however, these shorts are meant to be worn for active pursuits, so a bit of roominess does not detract from the overall fit and attractiveness of these shorts. They are very comfortable, as one can expect from Beyond Yoga clothing, and offer a cute, summery look. The pockets are large enough to carry keys, a mobile phone, or a change purse, too. Can't say too many good things about Beyond Yoga!
