Customer Reviews
Not worth the money; Oar heads (blades) are very loose and can be lost very easily
The product description says "Be prepared and pick up some Replacement Blades, too!". This is very true.. I bought a pair of these oars and took them out for a boating trip today and within a few minutes both the Oar heads/blades came off and we were left with only the Oar handles!!! We had to then use the handles to steer our boat back to the shore. Also, the Oars are not very good for steering the boat - I used the Oars in a very quiet lake but still it was tough to negotiate the boat direction using these oars.
I'd suggest looking for a better option than these oars. Not a worthy buy.
Not good
Frankly, these oars are junk. Either through lousy design or through cheap execution it is impossible to tighten them - they rattle and fold, the blades rotate and slip off. I'm pretty sure that they won't last through the season of casual use. Do not, I repeat, do not buy these!
