These are nice, but not all balance when empty.
I really like this set. Long handles...yes the cups are more wide than deep (trying to get used to that)...and they are heavyweight, stainless steel...but

- I find dry foods kind of "stick" to these weird "ridges" on the inside / no one has mentioned that and I have to take special care to wipe them out afterward - more so than with smooth stainless/they are not smooth on the inside/bottom. That's as good as I can explain it.

- The larger cups balance on their own when empty without their handles tipping/touching - back to the counter but the others do not. This may not be a big deal to you - but I thought there would be that consistency there meaning when empty all the handles would stay elevated off the counter, not all of them do...and I get annoyed with some tipping back on their handles when empty...is that just me? I have to stack them all into the 1 cup to keep them from doing that...but they do stack nicely.

I like the sizes...this really is the best set for sizes. If you can afford this set - get it. It is a once in a lifetime buy - these will last a lifetime...

I also like how the markings are clearly engraved into the handles and I like how the handles are straightback level with each cup and long.

Like these a lot! Actually I give them 4 1/2....
I bought this set because of the odd sized cups that are included. (and they were on sale...)

They are well made (three point welds attach the handles - Calphalon uses 2)), nest nicely so I can hang them all on the same hook, and are quite attractive...

If there is a downside, it's that they are a little wider and shallower than I prefer (the Calphalon cups will nest inside their equivalents), so I knocked them down a bit.. But perhaps that's just me being picky...

Great quality at a great price
I used these a LOT over the last few weeks with all the holiday baking and cooking to do. They feel good in your hand and are a snap to clean up (by hand or in the dishwasher). They also come in handy if someone tries to steal some of the cookie dough -- just give them whack with one of the cups you have on the counter -- even the 1/4-cup one can deliver a blow strong enough to deter such a theif!!!
