Customer Reviews
Exactly what I was looking for!
I never cared for incense until I started attending a Buddhist Temple where they burned the most wonderful sandalwood incense. I purchased some inexpensive sandalwood incense from a local new age bookstore, but was quite disappointed. It was nothing like the incense at the temple, it all was sickingly sweet, or too smoky, or barely smelled of anything at all. Reviews for Morning Star were very good, so I decided to give it a try. This is exactly what I was looking for! Clean, woody smell with just a slight sweetness. Smells just like the incense at the temple, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if this is what they burn themselves. If you think all incense is awful or it all smells the same, then you should try this. I plan to purchase the Morning Star Incense - 12 Fragrance Assortment next and look forward to trying the different scents and mixing them together. Wonderful stuff!
Great great great but...........
The sticks are great with amazing smell .... the only problem i had was that most of them were broken :( however i love them and my place is filled with this fragrance ...
Smells so good it makes you wonder what it tastes like...
Morning Star's Sandalwood incense is, by far, the best smelling incense I've ever smelled.
Don't believe me? Here's proof.
Back when I was a wee lad at the age of 8, I went to a friend's house whose parents burnt Sandalwood religiously, so when you walked in the smell just hit you. I swore, from that point on, that when I got a place of my own I'd burn those incense. A decade later, I held true to that notion.
Point is, I went for years upon years with never smelling it again, but I still remembered how good it smelled. You know you've got a great product on your hands when it can leave that much of an impression on you. To this day, I still maintain that Sandalwood is one of my favorite smells of all time.
Past that little history lesson, as you've clearly learned by reading other reviews, Morning Star makes high quality incense. The smell lingers long after the stick is done burning, and what's more, they're cheap. Don't waste your time on rip-offs, go for the good stuff, my friend.
