Customer Reviews

Good info, but one DEADLY flaw...2
I have to admit, this book is directed at the pooch with refined tastes and their humans with plenty of time and extra money to lavish upon their little princes and princesses. However, I did find one very unnerving and dangerous little "tidbit" in this book...

In the section where the author is talking about healthy snacks, he mentions plenty of options for the canine palette: peanut butter, yogurt, etc. But one of the options he mentions, GRAPES, have been proven to lead to liver failure in dogs! In fact, it only takes a few grapes to completely do a large dog in. Imagine what would happen to little Squirt or Tiny with even just one of these so-called "healthy alternatives"! I would definitely suggest searching elsewhere for appropriate treats for dogs (The Good Food Cookbook for Dogs is excellent, and The Home Spa Book for Dogs also has a few savory treats to sample), but as far as couture and fashion, this book does fine as long as you're able to afford it.

I love my dog and I loved this book!5
This book is perfect for all dog lovers! You'll learn how to pamper your pooch and offer him the very best of everything. It's a fun and informative book to read, plus it offers a lot of very useful information you won't find in other dog training books. It doesn't matter what type of dog you have as a pet. This book will help you improve your bond with your dog and make your dog happy, while keeping him healthy.

A Great Gift!4
I bought this book for a friend of mine who had just bought a Yorkie puppy. She absolutely loved this book and squealed for about 5 minutes upon receiving it as a gift. She read it cover to cover immediately and loved everything the book had to say--her only complaint was a lot of the items it recommends buying for your dog are unrealistically expensive.
