Getting to know the midwest area5
We move to Iowa 2 years ago. On our PBS station I would watch the progam titled "Parklands of the Midwest". This was so helpful in knowing what parks and other interesting areas are available to us, so I decided to order the book. It is very informative about different places we can visit and take our visting family & friends from California to. I didn't realize how many beautiful parks were around here. I thought it was all corn fields (which are beautiful in their own way). The areas around the Great Lakes remind me of some of the coastel areas in CA. This book will certainly help me plan some future excursions.
