Average customer review:Product Description
Nicknamed the "world's breadbasket," the contributions from the great state of Kansas reverberate far beyond its borders. Kansas has given us leaders in politics (Dwight D. Eisenhower); aviation (Amelia Earhart); and sports (Wilt Chamberlain); leads our nation in wheat production; and fuels our Hollywood image of the Wild West (Dodge City). From A-Z, "S is for Sunflower" explores the broad plain of history and people that make up the state of Kansas.

Customer Reviews
Almost 100% pleased with the product.
This is a great product with a flaw. The inside was bound upside down. I wasn't about to waste time and money to return it, I just flipped the sleeve around and you'd never know unless you took the sleeve off.
A fun book for all proud Kansans to read!!
While it's aimed at children, there are a lot of facts and history in this A to Z all-about-Kansas children's picture book.
Most state public curricula teach some form of their own state history (Kansas makes it mandatory in middle school, I think 7th grade), but this book can introduce some fun state facts and figures that can make a day in the hinterlands of Kansas much more relevant and fun.
Great Kansas Book!
I recently checked this book out for my daughters from our local library. They loved seeing about all the things that make Kansas great. We enjoyed it so much that I'm purchasing one for us and one to give as a gift to a friend. Very educational for older readers too!
