Wonderfully written...beautifully illustrated!
We at Michigan Magazine television have had the extreme pleasure to visit with the illustrator, Michael Glenn Monroe, for an upcoming segment in regards to M is for Mitten and Buzzy the bumblebee and have found a wonderful dedication to collaborate with Annie Appleford and Kathy-jo Wargin in creating exciting illustrations that are bound to stimulate and encourage youngsters to learn the alphabet and more about our Great Lakes State!

Amazing illustrations...great poetry...interesting facts. You'll find all three in this alphabet book about Michigan. Great to read aloud and great to read alone (again and again)....I highly recommend this book (and future books in the series) to all elementary school teachers.
