Groucho's Radio Years
This CD captures Groucho's highly successful radio years following the the hey day of the Marx Brothers. This CD includes vintage performances from Groucho's radio feature "You Bet Your Life" -- which he later did on television.
On this comedy CD, Groucho's wit is as sharp as ever. Also, keep in mind that during the era of radio, the performances were done live on the air. Listen to how Groucho successfully ad libs his way through broadcast mishaps, and adds even more laughter to an already funny show. Truly, Groucho was a very talented individual -- musically gifted and extremely funny.
Groucho is an American original. This CD will definitely prove this beyond any doubt. Owning this CD will be like owning a piece of history -- a piece of history that only Groucho can give to us in his own unique, witty, and humorous way.
