Editorial Reviews
Review
"The text covers the full range of life experiences using theory and research to show how people’s lives develop and evolve from childhood to the later adult years. The feedback from students is that they learn a lot, even though they thought they were pretty well educated in this subject matter."
"I found the material was easy to read as well as interesting. The authors’ tone was very inviting…I especially liked their style because it felt as though I was on a tour that had great interactive questions, examples, and facts that helped contribute to the clarity of each chapter’s content."
"Superb integration of individual choice / experience with sociological research and theory."

Book
I have yet to receive this item a whole month after ordering it and I am not happy, so I would say it sucks and my class is screwed because I don't have my book to succeed in it. Not a happy customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly what was ordered
Although this version differs from the current version, if you can take the hits on the quizzes and keep up with the rest of the work, you can get through the class with an inexpensive text instead of a $60 text. Came quickly and in great shape.
