Incredible Beauty
This book captures the essence of "Painting with Light". The author provides pratical step-by-step instructions and new techniques that even the professional painter horizon's will be broadened. I have purchased four copies of this book for fellow painters and received rave reviews!!! I am adapting some of the ideas to oil paints as well. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in new techingiques for capturing light in a work of art. Truly amazing!
excellent resource for watercolorists
This is probably the best book on watercolor techniques that I have found. It does not have copy cat"do it like this" instructions but rather has real techniques that you can use to improve your personal style and subjects.
Goreous color
This book is very inspirational for those who like to use watercolor in a bold, saturated way. Ms. Kincaid has a great deal of knowledge to share, and her paintings are beautiful. I use it often both as a teacher and a painter. A must have!
