This first book, that introduce the reader to the world of the Darkyn(vampyre...but much nicer..most of time anyway), is my very favorite in the series. I keep coming back time and again to reread it. Michael and Alex are continuing characters in all of the novels in the series so far (and that makes me very happy). Another adventure about just the two of them would make me even happier.

Third in the series, and my number three favorite, but just barely. The giant reptile segment is a bit difficult to love.

Mercy Thompson is one of the most interesting female characters, and I have fallen in love with her. She is sooo real and you feel as if she is a friend. I just love her! This is the 3rd book in the series and my favorite.
