Useful, but Smelly3
This is a very useful addition to the Manfrotto collection of accessories. I've been wanting one of these for a while to be able to hold a background in place. However, the rubber used is awfully smelly. It smells like old tire rubber. I bought two of these. When I first received them, I put them on my porch for a couple of weeks to air out--I didn't want to stink up the closet where I keep my photography equipment. The airing didn't help much, but I imagine in time it'll be fine. Adorama should remake these with a different kind of rubber. Otherwise, it's a great product.
