Perfect to help you choose a breed.
This book covers just about everything you would need to know to bring your puppy home and care for it properly. I recommend it to both new puppy owners and people trying to find a breed right for them. The book also list a short Pros and Cons for each breed. I still recommend puppy training classes but the book will help you get through the first few months without the classes.

Really, everything you need to know!
This is a great book. While I've raised many pups in my life, with my recent addition I decided to get a book to refresh my knowledge. I did learn some new things, too!

I've since passed this book around to my friends who have adopted pups, and they all have found it very valuable, as well.

Highly recommended.
