Again, Scholastic is definitely the way to go. I am simply introducing other options with regards to workbooks here.

This book is an activity book that reminds me of the Boy Scouts books. There are indoor and outdoor activities that allow the boys to fulfill on their own or with a group of people.

These leveled books are amazing! Based on your childs' age, you can purchase books that stay within a vocab range your child is familiar with. I buy these for my youngest brother and he always talks about them with a sense of accomplishment in that he is capable of reading them alone!

In 4th and 5th grade, the children began discussing WWI and WWII. I recommend the DK publishing company because they keep their books clean and each page is filled with amazing detail (i.e. there are enough pictures for the children to look at with small captions that progressively teach).

I bought these for my youngest brother and had him train with these cards for at least five minutes a day. Though he never struggled with time/money, it was a great refresher over the summer.

My brothers loved this book so much that by the time we pulled it out for bed, there was no need to read the words anymore because we all had it memorized!

Much like "I Spy" books, Waldo is a cherished character and continues to keep people busy.

I cannot believe how entertaining this book is for both children and adults! My brothers and I appreciated the constant adventure Meggie, Silvertongue, and Dustfinger endured!
