1.) The Breakfast Club Just marginally better than the standard DVD, this transfer suffers from serious grain issues. This is by far the worse looking HD-DVD yet.

3.) Christmas Vacation From the opening animation you can tell things are not right. This transfer looks to come from a VHS print at times. Sound is another issue on the disc. While this copy is marginally better than the standard DVD it is still one sloppy effort from Warner Bros.

5.) Excalibur One of the worse prints available. Some scenes are softer than on the dvd. PQ is awful on this one. Just sad really.

7.) The Host PQ is TOO dark. Image is poor all around. The worse HD-DVD experience I have had. I am glad I rented this title for free.

9.) Streets of Fire Lacks color and lacks good transfer job. Dont bother with this copy. Skip it!

1.) House of Flying Daggers Absolutely the worse transfer on Blu-Ray. PQ is very poor here.

3.) Close Encounters of the Third Kind From the overly grainy opening title I knew I was in trouble. Scenes are covered in film grain, nasty spots, dirt, and blotches. Some dark scenes grow TOO dark while others suffer artifacting. The file structure of this film is a mess as well. Scenes are split into various 3 minute clips. A real let down.

5.) Gangs of New York There is nothing positive to say about this transfer because it looks awful. They used an old print which had a few 'halos' and one too many artifacts. Disney struck out on this Blu-ray.

7.) National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Warner Bros. did a bad job with the HD-DVD version so why stop now? The opening animation stutters so much that I think this is a VHS print they used for the master. Yikes!

9.) The Punisher Really dark transfer and image remains dull the entire time.
