About the Author
Samuel J. Hunt is an undergraduate student at Western Kentucky University pursuing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His goal is to open a hospital that specializes in treatments based on the findings and principles in this book. Episteme Scientia is a series of nine books exploring the empirical and scientific validation of the biggest events recorded in the Scriptures. This first book is actually the third installment in the series. The Fourth installment will explore the cataclysmic events surrounding the Great Flood as evidenced by geology, chemistry, and astronomy, and the changes in the psychology of mankind after the fall of Adam and Eve.

Not Even Pseudo-Science
This guy sent me a copy of his "hypothesis" back in 2005 when he was a pre-Physical Therapy and dietetics student. From the portions of his book I've seen online, not much has changed in the amount of scientific correctness of his ideas.

He has at best a tenuous grasp of basic concepts of physics. Equating sound waves with emf waves is patently ridiculous. And it just gets worse from there.

If you value your brain cells, stay clear of this one. I would much rather spend a day reading New Age drivel than this creationist science butchery. I gave it one star because Amazon made me choose at least one star.

As the physicist Wolfgang Pauli said, "This isn't right. This isn't even wrong."

Science behind the power of our words
I bought the e-book version of this book quite a while back. Today, I felt led to read it again.

Although I don't agree with all of Mr. Hunt's viewpoints, I have found myself once again appreciating the power and authority God has granted us in speech. God has told us that death and life are in the power of the tongue and we will eat the fruit of it, whether that of life or destruction.

Mr. Hunt's book helped me to visualize why that is to be. On one hand, I know that God is right. On the other hand, my curious nature always wants to know "the why and how" of things.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about the power of speech. I would also recommend it to those who love to pray, for it will encourage you to continue speaking the Words of God over yourself and those you love. It did, at least, for me.

If everything boils down to sound that creates one way or the other, wouldn't you want to know more of how that can be?

It is remarkable how the experiments showing the effect of sound waves on various mediums are out there and available for all to see. This author has pulled this information together into a brilliant presentation.
