"Another Jesus ?"
There are some denominations that veer off from the Truth of the Bible and this author makes known and clarifies the deceptions going on in the doctrines of one major denomination. A "must read" for true Christians and those who are looking for truth in their beliefs, that it be according to the Scriptures in the Bible.
Transubstantiation Is Heretical
Roger Oakland will be rewarded in his Biblical refutation of the Catholic belief in Transubstantiation in this book. Anyone who believes that taking communion is ACTUALLY eating and drinking the flesh and blood of Christ is deceived and taking the verses out of context. To think otherwise would infer that Christ never needed to die on the cross once for the sins of believers. Thus changing the work of Christ on the cross into a false works-based faith instead of believing in the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ alone for remission of sins.
Communion is to be done in rememberance of His sacrifice and is not to be made a common thing as the Catholic church has done by "transubstantiation" and taking it too frequently.
Acts 8:36,37: And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
No Eucharistic Sacrifice
Roger Oakland in his "Another Jesus: The eucharist christ and the new evangelization" is a blatant attempts at judging mysteries that he does not understand. The gift of the Eucharist is a mystery that is well documented in the writings of the Early Church Fathers. Roger Oakland and Jim Tetlow have made it their mission to bash and misinterpret all things Catholic. Tetlow's "Queen of All" show a lack of understanding of the person and role of the Mother of Christ, who is "she who crushes the head of Satan."
"Sola Scriptura" is a fallacy that denies the ongoing development and growth of the Body of Christ. Scripture and Tradition are both needed in discerning how the Lord is manifesting Himself in an ongoing way.
