Product Description

Stand-up paddle boarding is the newest way to experience gliding on the water. The Sevylor Samoa paddle board provides a stable, comfortable workout; it's easy to use and offers users of any skill level a comfortable, reliable ride. Constructed of high-tech drop-stitch material, the Samoa can be inflated to over 10 PSI for extreme rigidity, with a high-pressure spring valve for quick and easy inflation and deflation -- and a high-pressure pump and pressure gauge are included. The Samoa features a 4" raised tip to prevent curling and improve performance, a large EVA foot pad for grip and comfort, and three removable fins for consistent tracking. Stainless-steel D-rings are conveniently placed for securing small cargo up to 10 lbs., and the board sports a convenient carry handle in the center. The board and all of the included accessories fit into the included durable, dry backpack for easy, lightweight transport. Paddle sold separately.

Beyond expectations

I did not expect the board to be stiff enough for a 200 lb man to stand on but even under inflated at 7 lb (recommended 10 lb) it was very stiff and only flexed about 4". The skags all run straight so it tends not to turn. Dragging the paddle works well on turn. Awesome ride in a small bag. I am looking forward to being able to fly with a big board and not have to rent.
