A must for all parents of kids with diabetes
I received this book several days ago. I have already read it completely and think it is the most comprehensive book to date about raising a child with diabetes. The topics covered are helpful for the parent of a newly diagnosed child as well as seasoned parents of a child living with diabetes who are moving into a new realm of growing up with a chronic disease.
A must for all parents of kids with diabetes and a nice way to get your feet under you after dx. This book includes tools and information about technology to help manage the disease but also ways to get through emotional toll disease can take on the entire family.
I'm glad to see a portion of proceeds goes to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, but noticed that the book mentions many resources for finding information, not just JDRF.
Wonderful Resource, well written!
This is an excellent book for any parent who is faced with raising a child with diabetes. I purchased this book five years into my daughters diagnosis and learned many new things. This book is very well written for the layperson and easy to pick up for reference. I would strongly recommend it!
