About the Author
Born in 1967, Ai Yazawa is the author of numerous best selling manga, including Tenshi Nankajanai (Im No Angel) and Gokinjo Monogatari (Neighborhood Story). Her title, Kagen no Tsuki (Last Quarter), was so popular that it was even made into a live action film. It was not until 2002, however, that U.S. readers had a chance to enjoy Yazawas stylish and sexy oeuvre. That was the year Tokyopop began publishing Paradise Kiss.

Yazawa also contributed character designs for the Courtney Love inspired series, Princess Ai. The collaboration between the grunge rock queen and the wildly popular mangaka was an immediate hit.

Yazawa continues to produce new Nana installments each month for Cookie. Even after all these years, her series remains as popular and influential as ever. As proof, a live action Nana movie releaed in Japan in 2006.

Customer Reviews

Nana is my favorite manga series!5
Nana 9 is very sad compared to the other volumes. It is excellent though. Don't chose to not read it just because it is sad. Oh poor Nana why???!! This is a must read just like all of the Nana books. I eagerly await each book and preorder it asap.

Exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!5
This series keeps getting more exciting! Takumi and Hachi will get married, and Nana is devastated with the news.

I reccommend you not read Nana series(I am a Japanese reader of this book).1
Nana makes you feel you have to read the really next one after the very each volume's publication but as the story goes on it would get darkened and vicious and you would never be able to finish the whole story. I reccommend you finish reading in this volume and not continue.
