About the Author
An AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, Darcy Luadzers, Ph.D., earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and a Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. A marriage, family, and sex therapist for 20 years who has also raised five teenagers, Dr. Darcy has appeared on The O'Reilly Factor, the Dr. Laura Berman Show, Playboy Radio, and many other national television and radio shows. She lives near Charleston, SC, with her husband and children.

FABULOUS
This is it, folks. This is THE book to hand to your young adolescent. It covers it all, from birth control, to being ready for sex, to "guys and lies", to the very real dangers that sexually active people need to face up to.

And she does it in a light manner. No preaching from Dr. Darcy. She talks to the reader as a friend, not as a "just say no" or "hey, go ahead, just use condoms" friend, but a wise, thoughtful friend who wants you to consider sex from EVERY aspect before engaging in the act. This book is guaranteed to have a positive effect on anybody who needs help nagivating the scary, exciting world of becoming a sexually active person.
