This book really messed with me. It was scarily close to my life. The emotions and feelings that Craig goes thru, especially with relgion, are things i have dealt with for years. worth every penny.

The most fun i have had reading fiction in a while. great characters, great plot, fun and challenging to read. really can't say enough about it. will re-read this many times.

What will happen to the world when Chomsky leaves it? He is a source of knowledge and ideas that will be hard to replace. Whether you agree with his conclusions or not, to not read him is to ignore one of the best minds alive today. This easy to read book of interviews is a good place to start.

A great mind and an engaging speaker. Like Chomsky, he should be read by people who agree and disagree with his views. Being originally from Pakistan, he has some very interesting things to say about the country that has been on the news so much lately.

a mystic? an anarchist? a theologian? whatever he title, she was an amazing woman, and hasn't been given the recognition she is due. my brain still hurts from reading this.

This book is possibly over-hyped, but that doesn't change the fact that it is incredibly important to read. With a borderline silly premise, this book doesn't seem like it would be full of ideas that will keep you up at night, but it is.

An overhanded absurd commentary on today's world that should be awful. but instead it's a biting satire that comes depressingly close to reality, while staying technically a millions miles from reality. wanted to hate it, but loved it.

I hated myself for loving this book, and hated the main character for making me root for him. I wanted to be rid of this book almost as much as i didn't want it to end.

This very short book is worth every cent. Written pre-9/11, Ahmad eerily predicts situations that sadly came to fruition a fews years later.

While this book certainly won't change any minds (i don't think), what it does do is give a good look into both sides of a popular argument. You won't walk away from this book enlightened, but you might have some empathy for the opposing view, whatever that may be.

I have not read this entire book, but it is a good start to understanding the EZLN and what they stand for.

I was drawn in at the start, and didn't like the middle. i thought the end was ok. then, a month after i finishedit, i realized it was great. The story is paranoid and absurd. Its like a Beat drug novel, except the drug is Ritalin and vodka.

This book is a lot of fun. Really weird, and a quick read. a great book for a plane or train ride.
