My 9 year old daughter loves it.
She paced each day til it arrived in the mail. I don't get it at all but she loves it and uses it constantly!

Hard to see the screen
We have a version four and we can see the screen just fine but this version five is so light that you cannot play with it. My daughter thought her Tamagotchi was sick for weeks until she decided that the X above his head was a bow and she was a girl. We could not see any of her information and the pictures were just too light. This one is much less fun.
