Enchanting Music from Exotic Corners of the Globe
Chris Spheeris captures many ambient energetic cultural sounds on this CD. Impulse buy is a keeper
I usually always regret impulse purchases. Not this one. I had never heard Chris Spheeris until I stumbled onto a free Friday afternoon concert he gave in Sedona in 1998. I bought a couple of albums on the spot, and they remain just about the favorites of my collection. Chris can play (and create) music from all around the world and make it exciting or beautiful or both, as needed. I can't imagine anyone who likes New Age or international music and a beat not loving this one.

Culture
This is a fabulous recording. I love CULTURE AND ARIA the best on this album. I heard a song from it first in a store I was visiting. An hour later was in another store where they were playing another song from the album. I asked what it was and bought it immediately.

My CD has been played a zillion times. Later I gave a copy to my son. He loved it so much he said he literally blew the speakers out of his car!

It is different and just so special.
