This book is gorgeous and would make a wonderful gift, especially for someone you would like to introduce to sacred sexuality. The basic tenets of Tantra are presented in an easily accessible manner along with many sensuous ideas to play with. Quotes are used throughout from the famous Indian Kama Sutra texts. Full of color photos. The clear layout with divisions for each subject adds to its reference value.

The book is well done, tasteful, beautifully photographed, very well informing and a must for anyone who truly wants a wonderful sexual union which is spiritually based and will take the initiate into the old ways of Soulfully connecting with a loving partner.

Tantra Lite
One of the few titles on this subject I could find that included photographs, but very disappointing. The models are bland and distant-looking; they don't seem spiritually or sexually involved. And the text was so light-weight, I have gotten better, more complete information from articles. Perhaps enough for someone who wants a taste of the exotic, but not challenging enough intellectually or spiritually.

Incredibly helpful book
This book is wonderful because it works to channel energy from the immediate experience into a prolonged, full body sacrament of love. The Tantrikas knew what they were talking about when they included all five senses, meditation. exercises, etc. The first time my husband and I applied these techniques, it was the most profound lovemaking night of our lives (8 is great!).

Just lovely
Contrary to the first review of "bland models" --they actually emit very gentle sensual chi--this book is well done, tasteful, beautifully photgraphed, very well informing and a must for anyone who truly wants a wonderful sexual union which is spiritually based and will take the initiate into the old ways of Soulfully connecting with a loving partner...I am now buying more for friends. Brava to the author.
